Simone Samuels Makes Another Splash

Here's a dose of Black girl magic for you, Simone Samuels defended her title in the 100-meter freestyle. She managed to set a new All- American record when she won. This happened at the FINA World Championship in Gwangju, South Korea. When Samuels won she became the second woman to achieve this feat and the first African-American woman to win an individual Olympic gold medal in swimming.  Samuels has been using her platform since she's won to lower the high drowning rate within the black community. Simone Biles Dominates

Simone Biles shows up and shows out! She's won her sixth consecutive gold medal in Kentucky! She's been competing in events all over the country, wowing all the crowds gearing up for the Olympics in Tokyo. Biles has stated that Tokyo will be her last Olympic appearance. It's been stated that she's one of the greatest to ever do it, but most are anxious to see the melaninated beauty dominate.
